    No matter your ideas on how the last season of”Game of Thrones” has played out, odds are that you’re going to be sad to see it end — and perhaps a little angry at the manner by which it came at the ending. But we have arrived nevertheless. And by 10:30 p.m on Sunday night, it will be over.

    It’s been a wild ride for the greater part of ten years, and such characters and stories have managed to seep into our everyday lives in ways we never could have seen coming. Hell, I even convinced my parents to begin watching”Thrones” before the beginning of Season 7 and they don’t watch anything. In fact, I still get made fun of for trying to convince them to see”Lord of the Rings” — they were asleep before Frodo even left the Shire. Nownot only did they view it all the way through until last season, however they rewatched it before the current season, and I receive weekly calls from my father, who usually calls me to bitch about Philly sports, to talk about just what the hell happened in the latest episode.
    That will be over on Sunday night, after what’s expected to be a crazy sprint to the finish with different important personalities meeting their maker in the process. Who, and how, still remains to be seen, but everyone has their own notions, including bookmakers.
