Miami Heat: 50-1

Something looks different about the Miami Heat this year.
I have got it: Norris Cole’s high-top fade is more than it was last season, squared away.
Oh LeBron James isn’t on the team which delivers a blow in 2014-15. That the Heat are comparative long shots after featuring as favorites this time one year ago.
Filling in for your King, Miami has veterans Luol Deng, Danny Granger and Josh McRoberts–three offseason improvements president Pat Riley would have preferred as James’ sidekicks, not replacements.
Chris Bosh will be a featured part of the crime and he will do his best to reprise the part of 20-10 dynamo he played the Toronto Raptors. And Dwyane Wade will step back into the spotlight, hoping his body holds up under the stress of increased responsibility.
On paper, it feels like the Heat have enough ability to stay around as a playoff team. But if Wade misses another 28 matches esophageal his knees, those postseason fantasies could vanish.
