LOG has selected the city of Rio de Janeiro to invest in a new logistic unit – LOG Campo Grande, located in the city’s West Zone. With high modal integration, the new enterprise has easy access to the main freeways going through the city, as well as proximity to the Niteroí port, which favors the shipping and receiving of cargo. The new unit demonstrates the company’s optimism towards the sector.

“We act where we identify high consumer demands, prioritizing easy access and offering a product that meets the profile of many companies. With that strategy, in 2014 alone we commercialized over 230.000 m² of new businesses, an absolute leasing record”, pointed out executive director Sergio Fischer.

For Sergio, Brazil is in need of industrial parks and the search for warehouse leasing tends to keep heating up. “We realize that today clients are more cautious when making a decision, and the commercial negotiation process is slower, however, the contracts are being set since Brazilian entrepreneurs realized that leasing and dividing the maintenance cost of a space is much more cost-effective than investing in their own location”, explanis the director.

The Rio project consists of two class A warehouses, with 54.500 m² of leasable area, in a 103.000 m² land, with modules available starting from 1.500m². They possess ceilings of up to 12m and laser-levelled floors, which reduces forklift wear and sustains up to 8t/m². In addition, it offers maintenance services, ample parking, space for maneuvering, restaurant and 24-hour armored entrance, to ensure maximum comfort.
