    BNDES and FINEP launched at the Rio Oil & Gas, the first announcement of Inova Petro. The program, which includes technical support from Petrobras aims to foster innovative projects in the field of oil and natural gas. For more information, click here.

    • The publication (http://download.finep.gov.br/fundos_setoriais/subvencao/editais/EditalINOVAPETRO-2012-09-03.pdf) Talks about an investment of U$1,5 billion, which will be available by 2017, with a credit limit of 90% of the investment. The projects will have a minimum value of U$ 500 thousand, with implementation period of 60 months.
    • Inova Petro has focused on the development of Brazilian suppliers and their target audiences are national companies with gross operating revenues exceeding U$8 million. But projects of companies with less than this limit are eligible, as long as the projects are developed in conjunction with another economic group that fits the rule.
    • The funds will be provided for the development of technologies aimed at meeting the demands of the productive chain of the following thematic lines: surface processing, subsea wells and facilities. Projects must be developed entirely in Brazil.
