Furnas in search of partners for development of thermoeletric power plant in Rio de Janeiro
Posted on July 13, 2015
Investors interested in developing a thermoelectric power plant in Rio de Janeiro can now manifest themselves to Furnas. The company is seeking a strategic partner, with experience in the sector, to develop the Sewage Treatment Unit of Santa Cruz, in the city’s West Zone.
Interested companies must present the necessary documentation until July 20. Among the paper work to be given to the state-owned company is a declaration of experience in implanting thermoelectric gas-powered plants of at least 175 MW, in Brazil or abroad.
Financial institutions and FIPs can only participate in consortium with investing companies possessing experience implanting gas-powered thermal projects.
