Casa Rio – Brazilian Business Embassy – is presented by the city of Rio de Janeiro and Rio Negócios (the city´s business development agency), aiming at enhancing the economic legacy of the 2016 Olympic Games.
The program has a clear value proposition for participants:

Previous editions of this investment promotion program during sports events were in 2012 Olympic Games in London and 2014 World Cup, and gathered over 1,200 companies, in 14 conferences and business events, resulting in 14 new projects for the city to date.
In 2016, from March until September, Casa Rio will present 11 conferences for an expected audience of 3,000 attendees including 1.300 Business Leaders - Authorities, Regulators, Investors, Financiers, Suppliers, C-Levels, Entrepreneurs and Industry Experts – and 300 prospect companies, to unfold business opportunities in Brazil.
The schedule will focus on the most relevant economic sectors in the country: Life Sciences, Startups & Entrepreneurship, New Medias, Design & Fashion, Energy, Infrastructure, Business of Sports, Tourism & City Branding and Sustainable Smart Cities & Big Data.
Conferences will be held in the Museu do Amanhã (during pre-games) and in a Stunning Old Warehouse with 7 k sq./m at the new Waterfront Area, with an extensive media coverage.
