If she leads on or hints that she is single, it’s because she wants you to ask her out. She has no other reason to divulge to you her relationship status, besides to let you know that she is available and looking to date.

She arches her back, drawing attention to her body

When people are in a group conversation they’ll often angle themselves towards the person they’re either most interested in or attracted to. Let’s say you’re in a group of friends and one of the girls is facing you rather than someone else then that should tell you something about where her interest lies. On a slight tangent, notice that when girls post pics with guys who they’re not in relationships with they’ll usually make a point of letting everyone know he’s just a friend in the post, they’ll say something like ‘Had a great time with my brother from another mother today! ’ and that’s because they don’t want anyone to possibly think they’re being a whore.

It is usually a “stolen” look. If a girl likes you, they just can’t help but look. They will look at you wherever you are in the room. If staring becomes too obvious, then this is their next “line of defense”.

Compare this to how often you text her. It’s the same principle as matching the length of her texts. She’s eager if she’s texting more often than you, and you’re eager if you’re the one texting more often.

She’s just not into you. And don’t think you can sway her by talking yourself up or negging her or doing whatever other dumb PUA technique you read about from some blog post written in 2009. It won’t work, and you’ll just come off as a desperate, creepy dude. Just as observing an anomaly in a tactical situation doesn’t automatically mean there’s a threat, an anomaly in the world of romantic social cues doesn’t automatically mean a woman wants to sleep with you, marry you, or even go on a date with you.

    • There is no other sign you need to know if a girl likes you other than if she is ready to leave her own comfort zone to experience a new horizon of what you like which she may not like earlier, which may have a lot of significance to you.
    • Furthermore, if you’re in a group, and she tells a joke or a story and then looks to you first for your reaction, then that’s an excellent sign she is looking for your approval and she is attracted to you.
    • This is actually true not only for romantic relationship, but also for all types of connection between people.
    • Notice how she acts around others.

Of course, she could be looking for validation or simply boasting too. In reality, the bulk majority of the population including both men and women are always looking for approval from others.

Of course, there is a point where jealousy may be a red flag, especially if she acts controlling. But a little playful jealousy over you talking to other girls is just her showing you how she truly feels, that is, that she wants you all to herself. Of course, girls can smile at you and not mean anything by it, but if you notice that your crush is smiling at you everytime she sees you, that is definitely a good sign. A girl will smile when they feel comfortable or want to seem approachable. She knows that smiling at you is a sure, but subtle way to get your attention.

“Are you single? ” is a personal question. “Do you have a girlfriend”, etc.

An even more telling sign that a girl likes you is when she makes long term plans like visiting a festival or waiting for the release of a new book by a popular author to discuss it later. If you are sitting in one room with other people present and she often meets your eyes and smiles slightly, this is also a very telling sign of her feelings for you.

If she trusts you enough to confide in you, then it is a good sign that she considers you to be a special person. You can show her that you like her back by doing the same thing. These plans can include even something as minor as meeting in the office cafeteria for lunch the next day to discuss a new episode of your favorite TV show that is coming out today.

And if you’re rolling your eyes about the science of why it happens, it’s all due to the release of dopamine. Ok, this might seem really basic. But it’s true!
